can I get a ye-haw?

The rodeo is now over in my hometown, and unfortunately I didn't get to go. My friend Allison and I were going to see Train over spring break and were so excited about it. We had every intention of going to the rodeo as I had my boots on and ready to bull fight (not really, it's in my imagination), but my friend and I were not feeling to grand so we had to turn around and head back home. Well bummer, at least we got to dress up!

Anyways this is our modern take on cowgirl fashion. Short dresses or shorts and cowgirl boots are very typical at the rodeo so I did a modern twist. I paired a bodycon skit, black cami, and mint blouse with my thrifted boots. I also love what Allison wore, channeling her spring go to outfit (as well as mine), a maxi dress with flowers. Now if only we can bring the rodeo to us, calling for delivery of bbq, friend oreos, and bull riders.

What I'm Wearing:
Blouse: Forever 21 {similar}
Skirt: Target
Boots: Steve Madden thirfted from Buffalo Exchange {similar}
Jewelry: Necklace- Forever 21, Watch- New York and Company, Silver Bracelet Set- Gift, Ring- Forever 21, Earrings- Charming Charlies

    Haha, the bold blue and sea green colors go together perfectly. I'm going to try this combo soon. Plus, your cowgirl boots are so cute!
